About Rangerville Elementary

Rangerville Elementary School is located in San Benito, Texas. Rangerville Elementary School is one of twelve elementary schools in San Benito CISD. The student population at Rangerville Elementary School is approximately 344 and serves students in grades pre-kinder through 5th. According to the PEIMS Data Review of our campus profile, 99.2% of the student population is Hispanic and 90% are identified as Economically Disadvantaged. Many of our students are first generation Mexican immigrants, 32% are classified as Limited English Proficient and a majority is English/Spanish bilingual. The students of Rangerville Elementary School students are recipients of a well-balanced curriculum. Courses are offered in every subject area and numerous activities such as choir, chess, dance team, Student Council, Accelerated Reader, and Spelling Bee. Rangerville Elementary also offers the Fitness Club and Jump Rope for Heart. The instructional programs include academic core subjects at various levels, such as Gifted and Talented, Special Education Content Mastery Lab, Resource and Inclusion, and a Bilingual program. All students are required to meet the passing standard of the four assessments which comprise the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR).

The current staff at Rangerville Elementary School is comprised of 2 campus administrators, 1 counselor, 1 RtI Teacher, 22 teachers,and 6 educational aides. The teaching staff is 18.2% male and 81.8% female.
